Who are we?

International Director Lars Münter
Lars, a Danish innovator, bridges rhetoric and science to foster collaboration across sectors in Scandinavia and the EU. He builds networks to improve interdisciplinary understanding, especially in preventing infectious diseases. With a strong track record linking healthcare professionals, NGOs, companies, and universities, he promotes dialogue, media use, and partnerships to tackle complex health issues. His focus areas include self-care, health literacy, communication, trust, and transformation – using tools like public campaigns, social media, and events to drive change.

National Director Nina Sønderberg
Nina is a dedicated psychotherapist, educator, and supervisor focused on mental health and community wellbeing. With expertise in mentalisation, family counselling, and emotion-focused therapy, she supports individuals through life’s challenges. Passionate about empowerment, she builds supportive environments that foster growth. Her leadership in education blends evidence-based practices with creative methods, guiding students and professionals to reach their potential. As a supervisor, she mentors future counsellors and educators, offering personalised support. Nina also engages in international collaboration, using her knowledge of EU funding to lead impactful projects that benefit communities across borders.

Anna Gallinat – Senior Communication Advisor

Anna is a communication expert with over a decade of experience in international organisations, such as the EU and UN. Her strengths lay in creating engaging and effective communication strategies as well as drafting content for various communication channels, be they websites, newsletters, social media or events.
She is passionate about health and well-being of individuals and societies and brings creative ideas to any project she is involved in, translating technical content into user-friendly, audience-appropriate formats with clear key messages.
Hanne Tarp – Financial Assistant

Hanne is an experienced bookkeeper and office administrator, she is focused on balancing the numbers, taking care of tax, VAT, invoicing, payments and Payroll. Hanne also competently solves other administrative tasks with her personal commitment. Furthermore, she has a fondness for Excel, which she will use to develop useful tools and worksheets that can ultimately optimize work processes in project management and in the organization.
With a background as a cultural event manager, Hanne will also provide practical and administrative support to the management during the organization of events and their participation in local and international meetings and events. She also ensures professional onboarding and support for students and volunteers affiliated with the
organisation.
Anne-Mette Barfod – Senior Advisor, Strategy and Financial Health

MSc in Economics with expertise in Strategic Communication and Concept Development
Anne-Mette, a Danish economist and author, connects economics, health, and equality in European contexts. With expertise in EU affairs, debt, economic abuse, and mental health, she sees the potential in addressing cross-border challenges where social and economic factors meet. She is the author of a book on economic abuse and co-authored Overskudskvinder with economics professor Nina Smith.
For 15 years, she has also trained union and workplace representatives in positive communication. Drawing on her background in competition analysis, communication, and strategic development, she fosters collaboration between researchers, NGOs, and institutions to strengthen wellbeing and resilience. Her focus areas include gender equality, financial independence, and mental health—linking policy, advocacy, and knowledge-sharing to drive change.
Louisa Edekobi – Intern, Global Project and Change Management

BBA Graduate in Global Project & Change Management
Passionate About Social Change, Wellbeing, Education & Community Development
Louisa is a curious and purpose-driven human with a background in Global Project and Change Management, through which she developed a strong foundation in research, social innovation and transformative leadership.
She has contributed to a variety of projects, initiatives and NGOs focused on cultivating resilience, well-being and systemic change. Her experience includes facilitation, guiding workshops and designing collaborative sessions that create dialogue and shared learning.
Furthermore, her work explores participatory and co-creative approaches that bring people together and invites reflection, connection and collective action.
Expert members
The Nordic Wellbeing Academy also hosts an expert groups of Academy “Fellows”. Currently about 20 member in total, these gather a dynamic group of Nordic and European expertise contributing to our collective skills and capacity.
